EXEMPT EDUCATIONAL Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED - Experience in chicken growing production SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES/KNOWLEDGE:
- Good organizational and record keeping - Attention to detail and level of discretion - Basic knowledge of chicken growing standards and procedures - Communication and professionalism
Experience:
- At least one (1) year of similar experience in the agricultural field.

Production Manager Office Personnel Quality Control Personnel General Managers and Department Heads Externally:
Contract Farmers Farm Hands Vaccination and catch crews Equipment crews Breeder Company Tech support and veterinarians Role and Core Function:
- Responsible for the overseeing of flocks on contract farms from the beginning to clean out stage of production.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Follow and enforce the company Biosecurity plan to protect the flocks.
2.
Weigh, flesh and spray vaccinate flocks according to the company program.
3.
Attend and oversee every pullet placement, vaccination, catch and conduct audits.
4.
Record flock mortality, weights, fleshing, feed and production.
Keep records on farm and in office.
5.
Pull routine blood, fat and swab samples for testing according to NPIP and company programs.
6.
Routine checks of egg quality and egg fertility.
7.
Catch and transport spike males as needed.
8.
Inspect farm equipment and attend a feeding at least once per week.
9.
Communicate with the farmer and give clear instructions for flock care.
10.
Assist and cover for other team members in all areas to ensure operation requirements are met.
11.
Insure that Animal Welfare standards are maintained and the employee training on Animal Welfare is done on schedule.
12.
Manage daily sanitation and general housekeeping of all company equipment.
13.
Any and all other duties assigned by Managers.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT - WORK SPACE:
INTERNATIONAL POULTRY BREEDERS, INC.

Arkansas, USA - WORK SPACE:
Pullet, Breeder, Spike male houses.
International Poultry Breeders office and warehouse.
Any other as needed - Poultry Houses:
have feathers and dusty environment at times - Weather:
Working in all weather conditions.
SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT:
- WORKING HOURS:
Work schedule will vary according to weekly task.
Mostly self-set schedule.
- Will be required to work some nights and weekends as needed.
- On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - Try to complete weekly task on a 40 hour week schedule.
OTHER INFORMATION:
PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND POSSIBLE TRANSFERS - Lateral or upward movement to vacant positions in other functional areas within the Group of Companies is possible, and will be based on qualifications and performance.
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:
- Follow all company programs and policies concerning flock performance and company representation.
THE JOB IS SATISFACTORILY PERFORMED WHEN:
- Flocks perform at or above company standards - Hatch percentage and hatch egg quality meets the company standards.
- All employees arrive to work and return home safely and in good health.
GENERAL COMPETENCIES:
- Must be able to be present, awake and alert at the office location assigned between the hours of 8:
00am and 5:
00pm Monday to Friday - Must be able to spend up to two thirds of the work day standing and/or walking - Must be able to manually lift, load and move pallets, equipment and other items weighing up to 50 pounds Job Type:
